Can I rent furniture for a specific period of time?
Yes. The prices are set based on monthly rental periods, but you can fix your arrival and departure dates as desired and additional days will be charged pro rata according to the selected time.
Does the furniture arrive already assembled?
Yes. All the furniture we offer is assembled in advance. This service is included regardless of the mode of delivery.
Is there a deposit required?
Yes. A deposit equal to two monthly rental payments is required. This deposit is taken at the time of order and is returned at the end of the lease (see Terms and Conditions).
Can I change the duration of my contract?
Yes. You can adjust the length of the contract at any time by contacting customer service by phone: +33 1 71 75 77 71 or email: [email protected] .
- If you wish to extend your lease, we will adjust your monthly payment starting the month following the notification of the contract extension. The rental period already made will be taken into account in determining the amount of the new monthly payment.
- If you require a shorter rental period, the monthly payment of the entire contract will be adapted with the price for your new rental period.
Is there a minimum commitment period?
- For rental contracts three months and longer, the minimum commitment period is 2 months. In the case of early departure, the remaining monthly payments corresponding to that commitment period (2 months) will be charged.
- For short-term contracts (1 and 2 months), the commitment period is equal to the duration of the contract. If you request products be returned before the end of the scheduled period, the entire contract payment will be charged.
Also, if you want to return the product after 2 months, the monthly payment will be adapted to the new lease term retroactively and no termination fees will be applied.
When should I notify getfurnished.com about my departure in order to schedule furniture removal (or drop off at our warehouse)?
The removal date must be given at least 21 days in advance. If not, GetFurnished will do its best to accommodate your preferred collection date, and may charge a penalty fee of 50 euros to cope with the logistics involved in a rush request.
Can I rent for a period of less than one month or more than 36 months?
Yes. Rental requests for less than one month are possible, however, they will be charged the equivalent of one month's rent, which is the minimum period.

Can I acquire the furniture permanently?
Yes, if you want to buy the furniture you rent, you can, at any time of the contract, contact customer service. A proposal for the purchase of the furniture will be made to you. The installments already paid will be considered in the proposal.

Can I order by telephone or email?
Yes. You can order by phone by contacting customer service at +33 1 71 75 77 71 (10:00a.m. to 6:00p.m. Monday - Friday) or at any time by e-mailing your request to: [email protected].
How is the order structured?
We offer three ways to rent furniture:
- By Product: You select one or more products a la carte to be incorporated into your interior. On our website, you can sort by price, color or material to quickly identify products that suit your taste and budget.
- By Room: On GetFurnished.com, you will see rooms of furniture composed and recommended by our team of designers. You may select the parts already designated and customize the room by changing the number of products required.
- By Apartment: You email us the layout of your apartment, your preferences and your budget, and we will send you proposals for furniture and appliances to furnish your entire apartment, within 48 hours.
How do I place an order online?
To take full advantage of our services, follow these steps:
1/ Select the length of your stay to see the corresponding monthly lease payments. The monthly rent decreases with a longer length of stay. You can change the rental period at any time by clicking on the dropdown box at the top of the page.
2/ Select the products you want to rent by choosing one or more pre-composed, recommended rooms or individual products a la carte.
3/ Select your delivery date. If you're not sure, no problem. Choose an approximate date and edit it later by contacting us. To make sure you receive your furniture on the desired date, you should notify us at least one week in advance.
4/ Choose your delivery method. You can choose to have delivery/removal* made by GetFurnished OR you can choose to pick up and return the funiture yourself to our warehouse.
* The service includes delivery when you move in and removal of the furniture when you move out.
Does every photo on your website correspond to the product I will receive?
In the case of furniture, yes. For appliances, in most cases, yes, however in the case that our suppliers can not provide the exact model pictured on our website, we will notify you and you will receive one with the equivalent features or of a higher range.
What should I do if I encounter a technical problem while placing my order?
Call the customer service number and we will assist you in completing your order.
Where can I find a summary of my order?
Before submitting payment, a summary of your order will be displayed. You can adjust quantities from this summary.
After submitting payment, you will receive a confirmation email containing information relating to your rented furniture and payment.

Delivery/Removal
How does the furniture delivery work?
If you choose the "delivery/removal" option, GetFurnished will send a team of movers to deliver the property on the agreed upon date. Once the date is confirmed, you will be contacted a few days before the move to finalize the time of appointment.
If you chose to come and collect the furniture at our warehouse yourself, the furniture will be made available at the agreed upon time and the delivery of the furniture will be your responsibility.
If during the move, objects can not be installed, the extra cost of specialized equipment rental for the move will be charged to you.

Are the delivery and installation included?
If you choose the "delivery/removal" option, the delivery and installation of the products in your home is included. This includes assembly, unpacking, plugging in appliances, draining (if necessary) appliances, and setting up the television. Please note we do not do electrical work or plumbing.
Can I pick up my furniture myself?
Yes. Choose the delivery option "collection at the warehouse." This option is free and allows you to come to our warehouse and collect the furniture you have rented. This option includes the assembly of the furniture by us. We will also help you load the products into your vehicle. If you can not bring them back, you can subscribe to our removal service during your contract at least 3 weeks before the departure date so we can guarantee the availability of a team to retrieve the property.
Can I change my delivery removal dates?
Yes. In order to change your delivery or removal date, simply contact us. We need to know the exact delivery date at least 7 days in advance, and at least 21 days in advance for removal. Your convenience is our top priority. If you are unable to meet this deadline, we will try our best to have a team available on the date you have chosen but additional costs to coordinate logistics urgently can be charged (see Terms and Conditions) in the case of short deadlines.
What should I do if I can not be present during my delivery/removal?
If you know in advance that you can not attend, you will need to change the date (please see previous question).
If you are not there when our delivery/removal team arrives, a notice will be left in your mailbox. You will be asked to contact customer service as soon as possible to reschedule the delivery or removal and GetFurnished has the right to charge an additional fee to cover the cost of the additional trip to your apartment.

What if a product breaks?
When a product stops working or functions abnormally:
1/ Check the manual that was provided.
2/ If you can not find a solution, contact customer service and a technician will conduct a test over the phone to find and resolve the problem.
3/ In case of product failure, we will visit within 72 hours to repair the product.
4/ If the product can not be repaired, your product will be replaced as soon as possible with a product of equivalent features.

How can I contact the customer service for GetFurnished?
Our customer service phone number is +33 1 71 75 77 71, and hours of operation are Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
What happens in case of damage or theft of the property that I rent?
Signature on the delivery note is equivalent to the transfer of responsibility of the property. Thus, if a product is broken or stolen, you will be liable to GetFurnished.com for the value of repairs in the case of breakage, or the value of the product in the case of theft. In both cases, check with your insurer to see if your coverage applies to these situations.
Payment
What methods of payment are accepted?

We accept payment by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, and Paypal.
You can place the entire order at once and receive a 10% discount or pay in monthly installments. If you choose to pay the entire amount at one time, a credit card or debit card must be used.

When is payment withdrawn from my account?
For monthly payments, the withdrawal takes place on the 5th of the month.

If I rent a telephone and/or television, is the cable service included?
At this time, no, you will need to contact one of France’s service providers in order to subscribe to cable and telephone services. Three major providers are: Orange, SFR and Free.
My Account
How do I create my account?
In order to use GetFurnished.com, you must create an acccount. Once your account is activated, an e-mail will be sent to the email address you provided when creating the account. You can change your personal information by logging into your account on the "My Account" section of the website.
What is the My Account area?
On this page, you have access to:
- Your contact details: Here, you can change your contact details if necessary.
- Your address: Here, you can manage your delivery address and billing address.
- Your orders: Here, you can check the status of your order
- Your sponsorship activities: Here, you can recommend GetFurnished to your friends by launching sponsorship applications and follow these applications. Successful applications will result in monthly payment reductions.
- Your invoices: Here, you can view and download your bills.
How does the referral program work?
You recommend GetFurnished.com to someone else who also uses our service, then both you and the person you sponsored, will receive a 5% discount on the remaning monthly rental payments.
